San Diego Company Donates $80K in Supplies to LA Fire Victims

by Cole Novak

San Diego-based Snuggle Shield, founded by UCSD nurse and mom Nicole Noar, is on a mission to protect the most vulnerable: newborns and their families. The company, which created the first air-filtering infant car seat cover designed to shield infants from wildfire smoke, viruses, and pollution, has donated more than 1,250 Snuggle Shield covers and baby clothing—a total value of more than $80,000—to families in need.

Recently, Snuggle Shield paired up with Baby2Baby in Los Angeles to provide crucial supplies to families that lost everything in the recent wildfires and needed protection for their babies from hazardous air conditions. The company has also supported wildfire relief efforts and contributed to the Red Cross to further its impact.
