JOHN BERTSCH

There’s no place like home.

Home means something profound to me. It’s not just walls and a roof (although those help!). Rather, they’re repositories of emotions and memories; The places where we should feel the safest, the most at ease and able to be our “true selves”. I understand and respect the meaning of home. So buying and selling one isn’t only a transaction to me, or “just” a business … it’s my opportunity to guide and accompany clients through this journey. I think the greatest compliment I’ve ever received is that my clients felt they had a true companion at their side.

A little bit about me

I’ve been a familiar face in San Diego for over 30 years. I’ve made my home in several of San Diego’s historic neighborhoods, and take pride in my knowledge of architecture and history. I’m also the developer of two stunning homes in Mission Hills as well as the sleek Cairo condominiums in Hillcrest. I’ve transformed tired & dated homes into fresh, noteworthy places while still fitting in with the rest of the neighborhood.

Let’s meet!
