This Concrete House Redefines Indoor-Outdoor Living with Raw Elegance and Soaring Spaces

In Goiânia, Brazil, Dayala e Rafael Arquitetos Associados designed the Concrete House as a raw yet refined response to a steep terrain. The home unfolds across two levels, its bold horizontals anchoring it to the slope while large openings dissolve boundaries between interior and exterior.

The skylight becomes the focal point of the space, channeling daylight deep into the interior and creating a dynamic play of shadows on the raw concrete surfaces. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels blur the line between indoors and out, connecting the living area with the surrounding greenery. Every element—concrete, steel, and glass—works in harmony, turning the home into a precise composition of structure, light, and balance.

The living room is the architectural centerpiece, defined by a soaring double-height ceiling and a striking skylight. Exposed concrete dominates both structure and finish, paired with warm wood and soft furnishings that temper its brutalist edge.

The pool patio extends from the living area, blending concrete structure with lush scenery for a calm, open-air retreat.
